Caroline Shaw navigates the realm of music by embracing various roles, genres, and mediums, aiming to craft sonic landscapes that are both unprecedented yet timeless. In 2013, Shaw was honoured with a Pulitzer Prize in the Music category. She has also garnered multiple Grammy Awards and holds an honorary doctorate from Yale University, along with a Thomas J. Watson Fellowship.

Shaw frequently collaborates with other creators and artists such as Rosalía, Renée Fleming, and Yo-Yo Ma, alternating between roles as a producer, composer, violinist, and vocalist. Over the past decade, she has composed more than a hundred works. Additionally, Shaw has contributed as a vocalist and composer to various films and TV series, including Fleishman is in Trouble, Bombshell, Yellowjackets, Maid, Dark, and Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé.
