Königskinder - Behind the scenes

Marc Albrecht is back at Dutch National Opera with Engelbert Humperdinck's Königskinder! With this opera, Albrecht, who was chief conductor of Dutch National Opera and the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra from 2011 to 2020, returns to Amsterdam. “Königskinder is one of the forgotten pieces but this is a masterpiece (…) and we have to bring it back on stage”, says Marc Albrecht.
