Amanda Beck

British Amanda Beck studied ballet at the Royal Ballet School in London before joining The Royal Ballet. She made the move to Dutch National Ballet in 1979 and was promoted to soloist in 1984. She began a profession as a teacher after retiring from the dancing stage in 1990 and has been teaching classical ballet at the Dutch National Ballet Academy since 2000. She taught all year levels and has been the preliminary training coordinator since 2016. Amanda also frequently appears as a character dancer in performances by Dutch National Ballet.
