Alexander Joel

Joel is now a guest conductor with many major opera houses, such as ROH Covent Garden, Deutsche Oper Berlin, Opera Vlaanderen, Boston Lyric Opera and Grand Théâtre de Genève. In recent years, he has conducted Carmen (London), Otello (Antwerp), Macbeth (Copenhagen), Manon (Marseille), Don Giovanni (Stockholm) and Madame Butterfly (Geneva). As a guest conductor, Joel has given concerts with Danish National Symphony Orchestra, Theatro Municipal de São Paolo, Düsseldorfer Symphoniker, BBC Philharmonic and WDR Rundfunkorchester Köln.
