Alessandra Pasquali was born in Italy and attended the Elmhurst Ballet School in the United Kingdom. After finishing her training, she danced with the Wiener Staatsballett from 1993 until 2005. She then joined Staatsballett Berlin, directed by Vladimir Malakhov, where she danced until 2011 and became a ballet master in 2014. From 2015 to 2020, she was the dance master at the Friedrichstadt-Palast in Berlin, after which she worked as a freelance ballet master and guest teacher.

In recent years, Pasquali has worked as a ballet master and guest teacher at institutions including The Royal Ballet, Balletto del Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Wiener Staatsballett, Ballett Zürich, Stuttgarter Ballett, Teatro Dell’Opera di Roma, the Czech National Ballet, the Slovak National Ballet, the Hungarian National Ballet, the Slovenian National Ballet, the Greek National Ballet, Aterballetto, the ballet company of the Staatsoper Hannover, Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company, Ballett am Rhein, Ballett des Staatstheater Gärtnerplatz, and Hessisches Staatsballett.
