Bernadeta Astari
Soprano
The versatile soprano Bernadeta Astari was born in Indonesia and studied at the Utrecht Conservatoire. While still at the conservatoire, she won awards at Dutch Classical Talent, the Princess Christina Competition and International Vocal Competition (IVC) in ’s-Hertogenbosch. She has sung various roles at Nederlandse Reisopera, including First Fairy and Spring in The Fairy-Queen and Amor in Orphée et Eurydice. She has also performed in productions inter alia in World Opera Lab, Urland, Libi/Djojokarso Foundation, Touki Delphine and De Warme Winkel and at festivals such as Grachtenfestival, Holland Festival, O. Festival, November Music, Down the Rabbit Hole, Oerol and Festival Oude Muziek Utrecht.
