Rufus Didwiszus

German set designer Rufus Didwiszus studied set and costume design in Stuttgart under Jürgen Rose. He designs for theatre, opera and dance. He regularly works with directors such as Barrie Kosky, Thomas Ostermeier and Christian Stückl and choreographers such as Christian Spuck, Sasha Waltz and Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. His work has been performed at the Salzburger Festspiele, Opernhaus Zürich, Komische Oper Berlin, Bayerische Staatsoper München, Opéra national de Paris, Festival d'Aix-en-Provence and the Salzburger Festspiele. He made his debut with Tosca at Dutch National Opera.
