Eno Henze

Set designer

Eno Henze is a visual artist and set designer, and also works as a creative director for large-scale media projects. He completed various media art programmes in Germany and, since then, his artistic work has focused on the relationship between technology and human existence. By combining theoretical concepts with technological possibilities and computer-driven calculation methods, he creates images and spaces that embody both the human and the machine.

Henze’s work has been exhibited at international festivals and in museums and art galleries, including the Moscow Biennale, Art Cologne and the Frankfurter Kunstverein. He has also served multiple times as curator of exhibitions and symposia for the NODE Forum for Digital Arts in Frankfurt.

Since 2011, Henze has regularly created set designs for works by David Dawson. This collaboration has taken him to companies such as Semperoper Ballett Dresden, The Royal Ballet and English National Ballet in London, Staatsballett Berlin, Bayerisches Staatsballett in Munich, and Dutch National Ballet.
