Leo Hepler

Leo Hepler was born in Alberta, Canada, and has been dancing since the age of three. He studied for five years at Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto, followed by a year at the Royal Ballet School in London. In 2019, he joined the Junior Company of Dutch National Ballet. A year later, he moved into the main company as an élève. He was promoted to the corps de ballet in 2021, to coryphée in 2024 and to grand sujet in 2025. In addition to his work as a dancer, Leo is also actively involved in Dutch National Ballet’s annual New Moves project, for which he fulfils a coordinating role.
