Gabriel started dancing at the age of 10 at his local school in the United States. At the age of 15, he was offered a full scholarship to attend the ABT Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School in New York City. He spent two years studying at this school and trained for one year at the Studio Company of American Ballet Theatre for one year. After his time in New York, he moved to Amsterdam to study at the Dutch National Ballet Academy for one year, after which he joined the Junior Company of Dutch National Ballet.
Gregory left his hometown at the age of 12 to pursue his studies abroad, and earned full scholarships to prominent ballet schools such as Canada’s National Ballet School, Cuban National Ballet School, Miami City Ballet School and San Francisco Ballet School. At The National Ballet of Canada, Gregory was given the opportunity to perform as Misha in James Kudelka’s The Nutcracker. During his training at San Francisco Ballet School, he performed in many renowned ballets such as Christoper Wheeldon’s Cinderella and Helgi Tomasson’s Nutcracker, Don Quixote, and Sleeping Beauty.
After starting his career as a professional dancer with the San Francisco Ballet, Gregory joins the Junior Company of Dutch National Ballet this season.
