Cor van den Brink

Lighting designer

The Dutch lighting designer Cor van den Brink produces designs for opera, dance, theatre, urban spaces and site-specific works. He has collaborated closely with stage directors such as Pierre Audi, Christof Loy, Monique Wagemakers, Jetske Mijnssen, Wim Trompert and many others. He has created and adapted lighting designs for Rigoletto at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona and Otello at Oper Leipzig. At Dutch National Opera, Van den Brink was responsible for the lighting design for numerous productions, including recently GOUD! (2021), Anna Bolena (2022), Operetta Land (2022), Maria Stuarda (2023), Rusalka (2023), Lohengrin (2023), Oedipus Rex/Antigone (2024) and Roberto Devereux (2024).
