German tenor Benjamin Bruns is well versed in opera, oratorio and concert repertoire and a rising star of the German opera scene. Since starting his musical career at the Theater Bremen he has moved on to sing at the Semperoper and the Wiener Staatsoper, as well as making guest appearances at the Bayrische Staatsoper München and the Konzerthaus Berlin. His repertoire includes roles such as Tamino (The Magic Flute), Fenton (Falstaff), Lysander (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Erik (The Flying Dutchman), and Florestan (Fidelio). He made his debut at Dutch National Opera as Max in Der Freischütz
