The American mezzo-soprano Raehann Bryce-Davis has an impressive voice and an adventurous repertoire that ranges from Donizetti to Philip Glass. Her previous roles include Marfa in Khovanshchina, Kristina in The Makropulos Affair, Mrs Alexander in Satyagraha, Sara in Roberto Devereux, Eboli in Don Carlo, Azucena in Il trovatore, Amneris in Aida, Der Komponist in Ariadne auf Naxos and Baba the Turk in The Rake’s Progress. Her singing career has taken her to venues such as the Royal Opera in London, the Grand Théâtre de Genève, Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich and the Metropolitan Opera in New York. At Dutch National Opera, she previously sang the role of Ježibaba in Rusalka and Giorgetta and La zia Principessa in Il trittico (2024).
