Polly Leech

The British mezzo-soprano Polly Leech was a member of Dutch National Opera Studio from 2018 to 2020. During that period, she sang roles including Abra in Juditha Triumphans, Fidalma in Il matrimonio segreto, Tisbe in La Cenerentola and Romaine Brooks in Willem Jeths’ Ritratto. After completing the Opera Studio programme, she returned to Dutch National Opera for FAUST [working title], as Cherubino in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, for Haydn’s Missa in tempore belli, as Mercédès in Carmen, as La suora zelatrice/La Ciesca in Il trittico and as the Sorceress in Dido and Aeneas in concert. She has also sung at Garsington Opera, Nederlandse Reisopera, La Monnaie in Brussels, Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa and with the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra.
