Frederik Bergman

Dutch bass-baritone Frederik Bergman studied at the conservatory in Tilburg. From 2019 to 2021, he was a member of Dutch National Opera Studio, where he sang roles in Ritratto and Petite messe solennelle. As an alumnus, he has returned frequently, including as Masetto in Don Giovanni, The Priest in Innocence, Achilla in Giulio Cesare, Le messager in Oedipus Rex, Tigri in Anansi and, earlier this season, King Pygmalion in Operetta Land. He is also a regular guest with Opera Zuid, Dutch National Opera & Ballet Touring Opera and NTR ZaterdagMatinee, where he recently sang the role of Ridolfo in Donizetti’s Dalinda.
