Elena Stikhina

Soprano

Since graduating from the Moscow State Conservatory, soprano Elena Stikhina has become a fixture of the opera world. Her repertoire includes roles as Tatiana in Eugene Onegin, Leonora in Il trovatore and in La forza del destino, the title roles in Aida and Salome, Lisa in Pique Dame, Elsa von Brabant in Lohengrin and Mimi in La bohème. She is a regular guest performer at prominent opera houses such as the Vienna State Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, The Metropolitan Opera, Zurich Opera House and the Paris Opera and at the Salzburger Festspiele. At Dutch National Opera, she previously sang the role of Cio-Cio-San in Madama Butterfly and the title role in Suor Angelica.

Elena Stikhina performs the title role in Tosca on select dates between 3 and 25 September 2025 at Dutch National Opera & Ballet.

Later in the year, she returns to Amsterdam as Joan of Arc in Tchaikovsky’s The Maid of Orléans, from 12 November to 2 December 2025.
