Elena Stikhina

Since graduating from the Moscow State Conservatory, soprano Elena Stikhina has become an indispensable presence in the opera world. Her repertoire includes roles such as Tatyana in Eugene Onegin, Leonora in both Il trovatore and La forza del destino, the title roles in Aida and Salome, Lisa in The Queen of Spades, Elsa von Brabant in Lohengrin, and Mimì in La bohème. She is a frequent guest at major opera houses such as the Vienna State Opera, Deutsche Oper Berlin, The Metropolitan Opera, Opernhaus Zürich, Opéra national de Paris, the Royal Opera House, and the Salzburg Festival. At Dutch National Opera, she has previously performed as Cio-Cio-San in Madama Butterfly and in the title roles of Suor Angelica and Tosca.

From 12 November to 2 December 2025, Elena Stikhina performs the role of Joan of Arc in Tchaikovsky’s The Maid of Orléans.
