Cor van den Brink

Dutch lighting designer Cor van den Brink designs for opera, dance and theatre. He works closely with directors such as Pierre Audi, Christof Loy, Monique Wagemakers, Jetske Mijnssen, Wim Trompert and many others. He created and redesigned several lighting creations, most recently for Rigoletto at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona and for Otello at Oper Leipzig. At Dutch National Opera, Van den Brink created the lighting designs for many productions, including GOUD! (2021), Anna Bolena (2022), Operetta Land (2022), Maria Stuarda (2023), Rusalka (2023) and Lohengrin (2023).

In addition to Oedipus Rex / Antigone (March 2024), Van den Brink will design the lighting for the third and final part of the Tudor trilogy, Roberto Devereux (April-May 2024)
