Tenor

The Dutch tenor Mark Omvlee graduated from Amsterdam’s conservatory in 2003. Since then, he has grown to become a regular guest performer at Dutch National Opera, Opera Zuid, Nederlandse Reisopera, ZaterdagMatinee, Opéra de Lille, Opéra national de Lorraine, Bergen National Opera and the Opéra de Dijon. His repertoire includes roles as Monostatos in Die Zauberflöte, Melot in Tristan und Isolde, Jack Twist in Brokeback Mountain and Aristée/Pluton in Orphée aux enfers. At Dutch National Opera, Omvlee has sung roles in Der Rosenkavalier, Salome, Reimsreisje, Oedipe, Dialogues des Carmélites and Les contes d’Hoffmann
