Alex Rosen
Bass
The American bass Alex Rosen is equally at home with the concert, opera and lieder repertoire. After graduating from the Juilliard School in New York, he made his debut at Les Arts Florissant. He has sung with leading ensembles and companies around the world. His recent roles include Melisso in Alcina with Il Pomo d’Oro, Raphael in Die Schöpfung at Oper Köln and Il Re di Scozia in Ariodante at Opéra national du Rhin. Later this season, he will be returning to the Festival d’Aix-en-Provence and he will be making his debut at Nederlandse Reisopera in Ted Huffman’s L’incoronazione di Poppea.
