Eva Kroon

The Dutch mezzo-soprano Eva Kroon is a regular guest performer at Dutch National Opera. In recent years, she has performed roles including Die Stallmagd in Königskinder (2022), Annina in Der Rosenkavalier (2023), La  maestra delle novizie in Suor Angelica (2024), Giovanna in Rigoletto (2024) and Eine Stimme von Oben in Die Frau ohne Schatten (2025). She has also sung at the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, the Neue Oper Fribourg and Opera Zuid. Her repertoire testifies to her love of both classical and contemporary opera, with roles as Amneris (Aida), Hippolyta (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and Kaiser Wilhelm in Jan-Peter de Graaff’s chamber opera De Grens.
