Mezzo-soprano Katia Ledoux studied at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Graz. Ledoux has a rich array of roles to her name. She sang, among other things, the role of Marcellina in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro and made her debut in 2019 as Geneviève in Debussy's Pelléas et Mélisande with Dutch National Opera. Earlier this season, she could be heard in the role of M'Akuba in the world premiere of How Anansi freed the stories of the world. She recently received the special Song-Oratorio prize at the 59th edition of the Tenor Viñas Competition. In the role of Proserpine, she could be seen again in Eurydice - Die Liebenden, blind in season 2021 - 2022 with Dutch National Opera.
