Are you between 16 and 35 and eager to experience the world of opera and ballet up close? With My Muse & Me, you can attend world-class performances with discounts of up to 75% and participate in exclusive activities created especially for young visitors.
How it all works
Membership
For just €25 per year, you can become a member of My Muse & Me. From the moment you sign up, you’ll enjoy a full year of benefits – including discounts of up to 75% on tickets and access to special activities surrounding the performances of Dutch National Opera & Ballet. Discover the magic of opera and ballet, meet other young visitors and experience the art from a unique perspective.
Age-based discounts
As a member, you’ll receive an age-based discount on performances in the Main Stage from Monday to Thursday:
- Ages 16–24: 75% discount
- Ages 25–30: 50% discount
- Ages 31–35: 25% discount
For selected performances, you can buy two discounted tickets for yourself and a guest from the same age category. This applies to Operetta Land, Romeo and Juliet, Paquita / Carmen / 5 Tangos, and Die Passagierin.

Please note: a limited number of My Muse & Me tickets is available for each performance, so be quick! Tickets for Romeo and Juliet and The Nutcracker and the Mouse King are already sold out.

For every opera and ballet production, a special activity is organised once, ranging from a meet & greet with an artist or designer to an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour. It’s a unique opportunity to get a closer look at the creative process.
Shared experiences
These events allow you to explore different art forms and meet other young visitors: often during an informal drink on the entresol. It’s the perfect way to round off the evening together.
Last-minute sprint
Got a free evening at the last minute? As a My Muse & Me member, you can sprint: book last-minute tickets at a discount for any remaining performances, including those at the weekend.

Juvenilia
Fancy travelling abroad to see opera with other young people, with great discounts? Then you might also want to join Juvenilia. My Muse & Me partners with Juvenilia, the European network for young opera groups. Each year, Juvenilia organises around twelve trips: two- to six-day visits to major opera houses in cities such as Paris, Milan, Vienna, Madrid, Berlin and Venice. Every trip includes at least one opera performance at a heavily reduced price, along with social activities like group dinners and museum visits.
