A dance day at school

A dance performance at school made in just one day by your own pupils? It can be done!
Dance instructors will teach your pupils various choreographies. The dances are chosen from the repertoire of Dutch National Ballet and make a strong connection with the dance module within culture and arts education. In middle schools, pupils not only rehearse but even make their own costumes and scenery, under the supervision of instructors. In groups 4-5 of senior secondary/pre-university education, the whole afternoon is devoted to dance, and no costumes are made.  In the evening, the pupils present their performance for parents and supporters. The dance day is presented through a collaboration with Projects Unlimited.

There are various programmes:

  • Hans van Manen for a maximum of 160 pupils, middle grades of senior secondary/pre-university education
  • Romeo and Juliet for a maximum of 160 pupils, all grades of senior secondary/pre-university education
  • Ballets Russes for a maximum of 160 pupils, culture and arts-education workshops and groups 4/5 of senior secondary/pre-university education
  • Tutu Much for a maximum of 160 pupils, middle grades of senior secondary/pre-university education

Cost on request, depending on the number of pupils.
