RICCARDO MINASI

Conductor

RICCARDO MINASI is a violinist and conductor. Since 2017 he has been chief conductor of the Mozarteum Orchestra in Salzburg.

He was co-founder of the ensemble Il Pomo d'oro and head of the ensemble from 2012 to 2015.  He is also 'Artist in Residence' with Ensemble Resonanz in Hamburg. Recent projects include Don Giovanni, Orlando Paladino and Il matrimonio segreto (Opernhaus Zürich), Iphigénie and Tauride (Hamburgische Staatsoper), Carmen (Opéra national de Lyon), Rinaldo (Theater an der Wien). He has also given many concerts with the London Chamber Orchestra, Tokyo Metropolitan Orchestra and Konzerthausorchester Berlin, among others.
