Mikhail Murach

Mikhail Murach (1958, Russia) trained at the conservatoire in Moscow under Eugenie Lieberman and Vera Gornostayeva. He then went on to study in Paris with Vadim Sakharov.

Murach has been with Dutch National Ballet since 1989, but has also had a successful career outside the company. He has performed with orchestras and given recitals in Germany, England, Finland, Austria, Italy, Yugoslavia, Greece, the United States, Canada and India. He has also accompanied the violinists Vadim Repin, Ilya Grubert, Mark Lubotsky, Nikolai Madoyan and Maxim Vengerov, at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.
