Gleb Filshtinsky

Gleb Filshtinsky studied scenography at the Russian State Institute of Performing Arts in St Petersburg. Since 1990, he has worked on more than four hundred theatre, opera, and ballet productions, as well as large-scale multimedia events and exhibitions. He has received numerous awards, including several Golden Mask prizes.

Filshtinsky has collaborated with companies such as the Mariinsky Theatre, the Bolshoi Theatre, the Alexandrinsky Theatre, Opéra national de Lyon, Opéra national de Paris, Théâtre du Châtelet, La Monnaie in Brussels, the Bavarian State Opera, Teatro alla Scala in Milan, English National Opera, and The Metropolitan Opera in New York. He previously worked with Dutch National Opera on The Legend of the Invisible City of Kitezh (2012) and Prince Igor (2017).
