From the Ring A10, take exit S-112 or S-116, in the direction of ‘Centrum’ (city centre). Follow the signs marked ‘P Muziektheater’, which will bring you to the car park underneath the theatre building, which can be very busy on performance evenings.
There is limited parking in the direct vicinity of Dutch National Opera & Ballet, especially in the evening. Looking for on-street parking can be time-consuming. Please remember that latecomers cannot be admitted to the auditorium once the performance has started.
The best option we recommend is the Q-Park Parking Garage Waterlooplein, which is located at just 5 minutes walking distance from the theatre. An additional advantage is that at Q-Park Waterlooplein you can reserve your parking space online in advance, so you are assured of a parking space and you benefit from a good deal. For more information visit this webpage.
The underground car park ‘Q-Park Waterlooplein’, underneath Dutch National Opera & Ballet is both a public and private parking garage and not exclusively accessible to theatre visitors. Because of that, there is a good chance that this car park is full and/or difficult to access. If you are short of time, we therefore advise you to avoid this car park.
