Wout van Tongeren
Head of dramaturgy
Wout van Tongeren studied theatre and philosophy at ArtEZ University of the Arts Arnhem, Utrecht University and Radboud University. He has worked as a dramaturge for, among others, Silbersee and Opera Zuid. Since 2017, he has been associated with Dutch National Opera & Ballet as a dramaturge. At Dutch National Opera, he has worked as dramaturge on productions including How Anansi freed the stories of the world (2021; 2025), Animal Farm (2023), Lennox (2024, 2026), Oum (2025) and Atman! (2025).
