VJ Aineko (Kristel Doest) does what she does best: transforming the room into a surreal paradise!
Her style is a vibrant mix of animations, music videos, and film fragments. Her visuals are playful, bold, sexy, colourful, diverse, and inclusive. In both 2009 and 2010, Aineko and her collective Geeks on Heels were nominated for the Gouden Kabouter Award (VJ of the Year), and in 2011 she proudly took home the prize.
Aineko has performed at venues such as Paradiso, Melkweg, AIR, Paard (The Hague), 013 (Tilburg), and Victorie (Alkmaar). This year, she was also invited to perform at the LGBTQ Pride in Brazil.
