Donations are of crucial importance to us. They give us the opportunity to continue to provide all that we have built up through the years, with so much creativity, perseverance and love. With your financial support, we can continue to present world-class opera productions. Important to note: Dutch National Opera is a financially healthy organization, and operates in a fiscally responsible way. With each production, we attempt to achieve the maximum artistic result within a carefully balanced budget.
Dutch National Opera is supported by Opera Donors who commit themselves for a minimum of five years to our company. With the help of their enthusiasm and commitment, Dutch National Opera is strengthened in its ability to create, produce and present top quality performances.
As an organisation with cultural status, Dutch National Opera is considered a Public Benefit Organisation or ANBI. That is why we can receive donations and inheritances without having to pay gift and inheritance taxes. That means that all of your gift goes completely towards the benefit of the arts.
How will your gift be used?
Your gift can be used to support our work in all its facets, or for a special production that couldn’t be realised without extra financial support. You may also choose to support our educational or public projects, or the more hands-on side of an opera production, such as the development of decors and costumes. We will gladly give you more information about the possibilities, as well as the tokens of appreciation that go hand in hand with philanthropic giving.
Tokens of appreciation You – as a patron – are very important to us at Dutch National Opera. You may choose how active a role you would like to play. As a show of our appreciation, we will of course keep you up to date on all the latest developments within Dutch National Opera.
