Enrique Mazzola

Conductor

Italian conductor Enrique Mazzola is Music Director at the Lyric Opera of Chicago and Principal Guest Conductor at Deutsche Oper Berlin. In 2022 he was appointed the first Conductor in Residence at the Bregenzer Festspiele. He also conducted La fille du Régiment at the Metropolitan Opera, Turco in Italia and Il barbiere di Siviglia at Opernhaus Zürich, Don Pasqualle at the Wiener Staatsoper and Orphée aux Enfers at the Salzburg Festival. He also worked with orchestras such as Orchester National du Capitole de Toulouse, Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, Oslo Philharmonic and the Vienna Symphoniker. At Dutch National Opera he previously conducted Donizetti Queens in Concert and the first two parts of the Tudor trilogy, Anna Bolena and Maria Stuarda with the Netherlands Chamber Orchestra. In April-May 2024 he will lead the same orchestra in the opera Roberto Devereux (Tudor Trilogy III).
