Sandrine Leroy (Rouen, France) trained at the Conservatoire de Rouen and then danced with the ballet companies of Théâtre des Arts in Rouen, the Grand Théâtre in Reims, the Grand Théâtre in Dijon and Ballet de l’Opéra-Théâtre de Metz Métropole, where she performed in classical ballets and contemporary works.
In 1995, she started working as a freelance rehearsal director and assistant producer. In 2005, she graduated with distinction in Benesh Notation from the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse (CNSMDP) in Paris and worked as choreologist with Ballet de Lorraine in Nancy and CNSMDP. She worked on Alexei Ratmansky’s Don Quichotte and Krzysztof Pastors Tempest at Pacific Northwest Ballet (Seattle) and National Polish Ballet and worked with Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Benjamin Millepied, Chen Wei, Emio Greco, Dominique Dumais, Jorma Elo, Sasha Waltz and Wayne McGregor amongst others. In 2007, she joined Dutch National Ballet as a rehearsal director and choreologist.
